Welcome to my place on the web. I've been told this page is boring on more then one occasion so don't expect much. :-)

My main interests in computers involve working with Linux, a free (as in speech) unix-like operating system. I've worked on a few free software projects, some of which are hosted on this site. Two of the more popular projects are SoX and the Audio File Format FAQ.

Some people might be interested in my background so here is a VERY short bio. I live in a suburb of Dallas, Texas called Frisco and work as a programmer in the field of telecommunications (fiber optic transmission stuff). I grew up 300 miles west of the DFW (Dallas-Forth Worth) area in Midland, Texas but moved to Dallas to graduate from the University of North Texas.

Outside of my day job, I like to work on free software related to anything Linux and also multimedia projects. I have other hobbies as well but you'll have to read my bookmark page to figure those out.
